Bombs Away!
To make a DIY bath bomb, you’ll need baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt, cornstarch, essential oils, and coconut oil.
First, mix 1 cup of baking soda, 1/2 cup of citric acid, 1/2 cup of Epsom salt, and 1/2 cup of cornstarch in a bowl.
Next, add 2-3 drops of your favorite essential oils and 2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil to the dry mixture. Mix everything together until the mixture has a consistency similar to wet sand.
Once you’ve mixed everything together, pack the mixture tightly into a bath bomb mold. Press the two halves of the mold together firmly, twisting gently to ensure they’re sealed together.
Allow the bath bombs to dry in the mold for 24 hours. Once dry, gently tap the mold to release the bath bomb.
Store your bath bombs in a cool, dry place until you’re ready to use them. To use, simply drop one into a warm bath and enjoy the fizzy, aromatic experience.
Bath bombs offer several benefits that can enhance your bathing experience. They contain ingredients like essential oils, Epsom salt, and baking soda that can help to soothe sore muscles, reduce stress, and moisturize skin. The fizzing reaction created by the citric acid and baking soda in the bath bomb can also help to improve circulation, exfoliate the skin, and release toxins. The aromatic fragrances from the essential oils can also provide a calming effect on the mind and promote relaxation. Overall, bath bombs are a great way to pamper yourself and enhance your bathing routine, leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
